interesting fact:
A fragment of a board found in the 1960s on the grounds of the former "Sport Schule" camp. "Storage of biochemical prepa(rats) from the specialist laboratory Bio Labor. (Wrocław / Breslau)".

I do what I can in this matter - to publicize it and maybe slightly embarrass those who have forgotten about these places, who treat them badly and vilely. I believe that one day they will improve...
I believe that one day all the mistakes made in this matter will be corrected.

As a compatriot who lived in Dzierżoniów his entire childhood until he was 20 and who visits the city regularly with sentiment, I notice that a lot of good is being done there. The camp - actually two camps and their treatment remains like a sore spot on the healthy
organism of the city.

Even as a child (10-12 years old) I noticed cruel wickedness. We would go to the monument in the forest to lay flowers, etc., and nearby thousands of pigs would squeal, "inhabiting" the blocks of the Nazi concentration camp where people were tortured and murdered. The monument and the pig farm caused quite a stir in the mind of a Dzierżoniów brat. I knew even then that this was not allowed. But who would have stood up to the 'PRL' regime in the '60s?

The pain is even greater because Poland has long been free (30 years) from the stupid communists. The war is fading into oblivion 75 years after its end, and in Dzierżoniów there are still unrepaired issues!!

First of all, this area and blocks should change owners to the city or the city museum + the small Jewish community and related organizations. There doesn't have to be anything in these blocks at all. It is enough that they stand empty - restored to the state from 1945 - especially inside.

By the way...
Can anyone in their right mind imagine a pig farm in Auschwitz?! And yet it's the same!! More people were murdered in Auschwitz, and fewer here. But planned/organized genocide is genocide and no one will account for it like an accountant for "pieces"!

SUCH PLACES SHOULD BE EQUALLY TREATED WITH THE RESPECT AND SERIOUSNESS DUE TO THE VICTIMS ...

I have sent letters to the Dzierżoniów authorities and media. So far, only the director of the city museum, Mr. Henryk Smolny, has responded.

I quote:

a mark on the wall of one of the camp blocks
this year some poorly-intelligent people decided to turn the camp into a pig farm

After the war, the Sportschule was home to (oh my god!!) a State Agricultural Farm/Piggery - which only proves that the city was ruled by some communist-ignorant people who ruthlessly desecrated the place of suffering and war crimes!! Because it wasn't a workers' hotel...

***

A smaller camp with the same camp blocks (3) was located in Dzierżoniów Dolny at ul. Brzegowa 151. An animal shelter was organized in this place.

All of this is (for me) maximally bizarre and I will not accept it in silence and silence!! These camps are totally neglected as places of Nazi war crimes. There are not even commemorative plaques or boards explaining the history of these places near them.

THIS IS GROSS WICKEDNESS... Something must be done about it. It can't be like this.
THIS IS MY APPEAL TO THE 'RULES' OF DZIERŻONIÓW, ETC. !!

The larger camp is a total ruin and doesn't even have an access road. Because what is there can only be called an obstacle course and a car suspension destruction course.

The smaller one on Brzegowa was renovated for a lot of money and now looks like some super new Dzierżoniów development. It even has a special "star" board at the entrance - BUT NOT THE ONE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE A LONG TIME AGO!!
